3 months have come and gone here in 2005, and baseball’s finally beginning. i got 75 bucks on the line in fantasy, and i expect to win it bigtime. little recap of what’s happened so far in 2005 for me: started with a bang in the raucous capital of thailand; my taste in beauty jumped exponentially, don’t know if that’s good or bad. the smell of lime juice frying, the overweight german tourists bobbing down narrow sidewalks, the pollution coming from the backs of tuk-tuks, it was all wonderful. dreadful busride through laos, chatting with Chinese border guards down, teaching them snippets of English that they’ll never use. the best car ride through southwest china, from the lao border to jinghong; i gotta get a bike and go down there someday. kunming in january was a pleasant breeze, and the return trip was filled with korean booze. vegas was bitchin, overpriced beauties strutting their stuff at the MAGIC fashion show. and now, a new fashionisto is born.
